Chapter 8

• There was no emotional attachment to the apartment. The bathroom door that wouldn’t close. The entrance door that she would have to use her shoulder to open and close. She wouldn’t miss the ugly room that just gave off the orange colour most of the time. She always dreamt about moving out of this small, ugly and bad apartment to a bigger and better one. She never envisioned that she would be in a fake relationship with her boss that she didn’t like, and then moving into his mansion. When she had researched about it she hadn’t been ready to see that much wealth in one place.
• The videos she saw was mostly from protestors at his gate. There was just one video from an interview in his house and she didn’t know if the room they held it was his living room or his dinning. Or something else. Point was she didn’t know what to expect. She put the remainder of her things in another box.
• “Are you done being sentimental?” she had forgotten that he was in the room with her. Well she wasn’t being sentimental. She was just taking in the apartment that she was never going to see again. She didn’t feel a thing.
