Chapter 29

• They stayed in the same room and they functioned properly without too much arguments. They could both say that she had partially moved in. She slept with him on a regular so why not just stay there. The only thing that they didn’t share in the room was the bathroom. She had listed many complaints of why she would never share a bathroom with a man and he too had given his reasons why he wouldn’t share one with a woman. She had some clothes with his in his closet. Also some shoes and she might have placed little cosmetics among his vast collections. She had a smile on her face and he had quirked an eyebrow in question. She didn’t say what she wanted to.
• She had a spare toothbrush in his bathroom. That was the only thing she did in there before going to bed. Everything else was in her own room. They were close to an actual couple. But she would not be saying fiancé so freely. So she could say this was the dating phase, not boyfriend and girlfriend.
• Speaking of friend, since he had stolen the spotlight at her own party she wanted to have another party. Not a big one though, just something small. Something normal. Familiar. She wouldn’t say she missed her average life. What was there to miss? Her ugly apartment and the subway she had to constantly rub against strangers. What she did miss most where the nights out with her friends. Where they would just go to their normal club and she would sing her heart out.
