• He had the video on repeat for days. Her just saying it was over just did something painful to his insides. Thinking back now, this was the reason why he didn’t date. And she did leave. Well he wasn’t entirely innocent. But they had said they would take a break, and on live television she had said that they had broken up.
• He had no idea what to do. He knew where she stayed, he had all her contacts. He didn’t know why he was apprehensive about it. His mum had been watching the news and immediately she said that she gave him a call. He didn’t answer. He also didn’t answer the ones after that. She had to come see him because of that. When she did show up, he had expected her to rain fire on him but she didn’t do that. She sat by his side and held his hand. He didn’t need the comfort because nobody died, but he appreciated it.
• He didn’t even care about all what they were saying. He wanted time to himself to forget about all this. She had obviously forgotten about him. She didn’t call him to say it was over or anything. She was doing well in her music. Heartbreaker was really good. Very popular. And she was doing other things. She had made her onstage debut at an award show and did a very sensual performance. So he was sure that he was the last thing on her mind.
