Chapter 31

• He didn’t see her before he slept. He had spent quite a while knocking on her door but there was no answer. He had wanted to call her, but he decided against it. She was already angry at him and he didn’t want to take more of it. He let her sleep. Thinking about it now he should have pushed more on both of them sharing a bathroom. That way she would have no other choice but to come back to their room so they could talk. She had everything in there. A bed, a toilet and Reginald would make sure she ate.
• At the table during breakfast the two of them didn’t exchange a single word to the other. Why would they? He was the one who caused all this. Last night, if things didn’t get ruined by Stella he would be in a stable and grounded relationship. She would tell him that she felt the same and they could start all over again. But that didn’t happen. They were back to square zero where she hated him.
• “Turn that noise off!” he spat. Even though the volume wasn’t high it irritated him. They were already talking about it. On the celebrity gossip channel.
