Chapter 25 The Mansion

• Upon hearing that, Samantha frowned even harder. Her large, clear eyes were spinning rapidly in thought. Her small, fair face was flushed red. Clearly, Cassius had misunderstood her intentions. What should she do?
• “Don't get the wrong idea,” Samantha hastily clarified. “When I said I'd come to your house, I didn't have any ulterior motives.”
• “You have no other intentions? Then why are you in a hurry to get to my place?” Clearly, Cassius didn't believe the lie that she casually said. Her pair of flickering big eyes had already told him that what she had just said was a lie.
