Chapter 17 Drunk

• Samantha took a deep breath, trying her best to hold back the sting of tears in her eyes. She reached out for the red wine, poured herself a full glass, and downed it in one gulp.
• “If you keep drinking like that, you'll get drunk easily.”
• Cassius watched as Samantha desperately downed the wine and kindly reminded her, but he didn't stop her. Instead, he had a look of amusement on his face, half-smiling as he narrowed his eyes, watching her pour drink after drink for herself.
