Chapter 40

• The drive back to the Mansion was one hell of a ride. It was a silent nightmare I wished it would end immediately and my wish was granted when the car stopped right in the garage. I stepped out of the car, not caring If he was following behind.
• I walked into the living room space with my heels clicking on the floor harshly. He walked in right after and shut the door. Since it was midnight. I didn't spare him a glance, I ignored him as if he doesn't exist. Then he called my name again, "Donna"
• I ignored him again and made my way towards the stairs. My ankle hurts so badly. I just needed to rest a bit. I haven't even stepped my foot on the stairs when he gripped my my wrist again.
