Chapter 3 I'm Going to Save Her

  • Clearly, he had been cheated on!
  • Michael felt a sharp pain in his heart, as if a knife had twisted inside him!
  • No wonder Lydia always treated him with disdain, and Sophia Lewis had always been distant. They had orchestrated everything.
  • He had been oblivious until now, and they had been waiting for an opportunity.
  • Now that opportunity had arrived, and they were asking that he propose getting a divorce just to save face!
  • And they had even sent that man to deliver the message!
  • Michael's chest burned with anger, and he silently vowed, The Lewises won't get away with this. I won't let this slide. I'll make sure they regret it!
  • Michael set aside his pendant and pulled out a bank card, handing it over to the doctor. "The money has been transferred to this card. Please proceed with the payment."
  • The middle-aged doctor took the card, exhaling deeply.
  • Just moments ago, Michael had collapsed abruptly on the surgery trolley, startling him. He had feared Michael was about to cause a scene.
  • As he turned to leave, Michael spoke again, "Prepare a vacant room for me and bring me a set of cupping jars!"
  • The middle-aged doctor was taken aback. "What do you need them for?"
  • Michael looked at Sally. "I'm going to save her!"
  • The doctor was speechless. "Save her?! She's already gone!"
  • "No, she's not dead!" Michael shouted.
  • The doctor was startled. "Stop yelling! This is a hospital!"
  • Michael insisted, "What's the problem? Is the money on the card not enough to arrange a room? Not enough to purchase cupping jars?"
  • "I warn you! Don't cause trouble!" the doctor threatened sternly.
  • The doctor realised he must have offended Michael earlier with his attitude, and now Michael was retaliating, trying to stir up trouble.
  • "I'm not causing trouble! I'm trying to save a life!" Michael retorted angrily.
  • "Why are you yelling?!" the doctor barked.
  • "What's going on?"
  • At that moment, an elderly man with white hair approached.
  • The doctor recognised the elderly man as Cedric Mckinney, an alternative medicine practitioner visiting the hospital for an academic exchange.
  • He hurried over to Cedric and recounted the recent events.
  • Cedric observed Sally lying there and shook his head. "Young man, the dead cannot be brought back. Please accept my condolences."
  • Michael glared at Cedric. "I'm telling you, she's not dead!"
  • The doctor grew alarmed. "Dr. Mckinney, I think he's just here to cause trouble. Should I call security?"
  • Cedric hesitated briefly, then waved his hand. "There's no need for security."
  • Surprised, the doctor said, "But Dr. Mckinney ... "
  • Cedric addressed Michael, "We don't have cupping jars here at the hospital, but I have some at my clinic nearby. If you're willing, come with me, and I'll get them for you."
  • Cedric had a compassionate heart and had witnessed many distraught family members experiencing emotional turmoil after losing loved ones.
  • Right now, it was crucial to stabilize Michael's emotions and prevent further agitation.
  • Michael looked gratefully at Cedric. "Thank you so much!"
  • The doctor snorted disdainfully. "You're just lucky you ran into Dr. Mckinney ... "
  • ……
  • Carrying Sally, Michael followed Cedric to a clinic named Perfect Touch Clinic just outside the hospital.
  • Inside the clinic, banners adorned the walls.
  • Cedric fetched a set of cupping jars and led Michael to an inner chamber.
  • Cedric was about to offer consoling words about the impossibility of bringing back the dead ...
  • But his eyes widened in astonishment!
  • He watched as Michael carefully pressed three specific points on Sally's body!
  • And these points were none other than the forehead, chest, and lower abdomen!
  • Upper energy field!
  • Middle energy field!
  • Lower energy field!
  • But that wasn't all—Michael used two fingers to stroke Sally's body ...
  • To the average person, Michael's actions might seem incomprehensible.
  • But Cedric, seasoned in alternative medicine, understood perfectly well what Michael was doing!
