Chapter 1829 Ten Titans!
- Storm’s brewing, and the wind’s about to rip the roof off. In just three days, plenty of people had already figured out what those foreign cultivators were after. A lot of folks tried to talk Michael Shephard out of going. But even more wanted him to teach those arrogant outsiders a hard lesson.
- As the day drew closer, everyone fell quiet, eyes turning toward the American West. They knew it didn’t matter what they said—the moment of truth was coming.
- Out in the West… Because of that war, the land was already scorched bare, pocked with craters. It was truly a wasteland. Earlier on, some people still came to check in, snap photos, play tourist. But after New Year’s, that all stopped. Word had it the U.S. had taken it over. Anyone who stepped in got hauled away. Even so, a few fearless idiots snapped secret pics and blasted them online. Those shots were creepy as hell. Supposedly, there were see-through bodies with glowing crowns of light. And people covered head to toe in hair. Someone even caught a stretch of earth turned a lush green. After that, almost no one dared set foot there.
