Chapter 23

• Emily’s POV
• I was awakened by the chirping sound of the birds singing, I dragged myself to the bathroom to have a long cold shower to calm my nerves before the rumbling of the sound of the noise day began again.
• I woke up earlier than usual as I had a long day's rest the previous day since I didn’t go to work. I got to the office earlier to indulge myself in my work, As time passed others came in one after the other, and soon the quiet and serene silence turned into a disruption.
