• William was anxious, he had been for days now. Worried about Emerson, the last he heard from him was right before their recent game.
• After the game, he had gone in search of him, risking running into Mason but it was no use, Emerson was nowhere to be found.
• Emerson simply ignored him, for almost a week now. His mind went back to that conversation he heard over the phone, for so long he had been unable to get it out of his head.
