• Jeco dashed into his chambers, his eyes darting around in anger. He thought about the conversation he had with Rica earlier and how she had responded, a thought that somehow made his blood boil. Rica was really affecting his mindset.
• “Have you checked her room?” he asked the maid angrily, dashing out of his chambers and heading to Rica’s quarters.
• “Yes, Alpha King. Diana said she hasn’t seen her at all,” the maid replied, fear evident in her voice.
