Chapter 59 Chaos

Xander's body froze hearing everything the doctor said. The rhythm of his heart beat faster. Xander's dark brown eyes showed the many feelings that ran through his mind and heart. Happy and confused mixed into one.
“P-pregnant? My wife is pregnant?” Xander repeated to be sure. Of course Xander was sure that the fetus in Audrey's womb was his future child, but Xander didn't expect it. He and Audrey hadn't even been a month together, but he was able to get his wife pregnant anyway.
“Excuse me sir, didn't you know your wife was pregnant?” said the doctor as he stared intently at Xander.
