Chapter 12 I Found You

• “I found you, Serry.” Xander whispered hoarsely in front of Serry's lips. The man pressed Serry's body so she could not rebel. Xander's brown eyes met Serry's. Xander saw the redness in Serry's eyes. Xander was sure that Serry had been crying.
• A broken smile appeared on Serry's face when she heard what Xander said, an imperfect smile that showed vulnerability and deep wounds. “Go, Xander. Your wife is waiting for you. I don't want to mess someone's husband up,” she said quietly, holding back the tears that were about to come out.
• Xander let out a rough breath. Xander slowly released Serry from his grip. “Where have you been, Serry? I almost went crazy looking for you!” she cried in a high pitched voice.
