• "Is this really necessary? The guards are too much; everyone will be staring at me," I said, frustration evident on my face. Venom placed a reassuring hand on my shoulder.
• "They're not; it's for the midterm and they won't follow you anymore. And if anyone stares at you inappropriately, just let me know. I'll personally come to your school and—" I cut him off before he could finish. I already knew what he was going to say, and I didn't want to cause any trouble at school or make anyone fear me.
