Chapter 19

• “Damn it! Where are you, Angel?” Dylan muttered in frustration. He had been wandering around the area where Angel said he should rescue her from, on the phone since morning, but there was no sign of her.
• He dialed the number she had called from for the fifth time, but once again, no one picked up. The silence only heightened his anxiety.
• “Please, hope nothing happened to you, Angel. I don’t know what I’d do if something bad happened,” he murmured, worry etched across his face.
