- Marilyn didn’t mince her words. Initially, she refrained from taking Narda away because she had traveled a long way to visit Luke Huxley. However, now she was adamant about not leaving Narda to act insincerely in front of Luke Huxley. Narda’s expression hardened at Marilyn’s response. She then defended herself weakly, “Marilyn, that’s not what I meant. I’m simply concerned about Luke Huxley.”
- “What if we don’t hurry? Miss Hansley leaves, and something happens to Luke Huxley.”
