- "It's last night, isn't it?" She says, her voice low, and I roll my eyes, knowing exactly what's going to happen. She's about to blame herself for dragging me to that party, but maybe it wasn't such a bad thing after all.
- Quinn picking up a fight with me might not be as bad as I thought because it gave me a chance to bond with my brother, and also have Sinclair Leabough between my thighs.
- Earlier than expected. "It's not. I told you to stop bothering yourself about that, Lucy. Seriously, I'm fine. AndI'l be in school if you hang up right now, and let me focus on getting a cab." I say with a hint of sarcasm, and her laugh booms through my ears.
