Chapter 32 TIME TO SAY GOODBYE

• Some days later. Little April had not seen the doctor after that day she suddenly fell unconscious. She did not know what happened to her, she was fully awake but then something like a black smoke suddenly surrounded her and before she knew it, she fell asleep and since that day, she had not seen the doctor. Did something happen that day? She kept asking herself but she did not even remember a thing. She hoped the doctor had not gone hiding, tomorrow was the day scheduled for her surgery and she heard he would be the one to perform the surgery.
• Truthfully, when her mother had informed her that he would be the one to perform her surgery, she was really happy and she didn't feel scared anymore because she knew she would be safe with him there. She really could not understand that mysterious man, one second he was acting as though he hated her more than anything and that he would never help her and the next second, he was helping her. He was like a puzzle that was difficult to understand or explain. And she found it really weird how she kept missing him those days he didn't appear to her. She did not realise that those days she had always followed him, he had already grown on her. Now she had no one to follow, she had no one to trouble. 'Where on earth is he?' This was the day she needed him the most. She looked at the paper airplane she had made for him, she had actually written a heartfelt letter in it and folded it into an airplane.
• She sighed as she looked at the sky, it was getting dark and she had to go back to her ward to prepare herself for her surgery tomorrow but she still decided to wait at the garden hoping that he would show up besides this was his favourite spot, he would come here to light his cigarette and she would always appear at the right moment stopping him from smoking. She smiled as she remembered how he would always sigh whenever she came and how he would always try to scare her. She also remembered his reaction when she had asked him about his ideal type. She didn't even know she was already laughing reminiscing those memories she had with him.
