Chapter 27 SUCH AN ODDBALL

• April opened her eyes and realised she was dreaming. She wouldn't exactly call it a dream, no, it was as though those memories she had long forgotten were coming back to her. Before she had the strange dream, she didn't even remember that she once searched for a mysterious doctor or a mysterious doctor once saved her. The only thing she remembered was clutching the pinky finger of a doctor whose face wasn't even revealed, she was begging him to save her. Now that she thought about it, she found it really strange. Why did she not remember searching for a doctor? Why could she not see that doctor's face? Why were those memories suddenly coming to her like a dream? Why did she forget about that doctor all these years?
• Something within her tells her that all these were probably related to the demon. When he came to her, she suddenly remembered clutching a doctor's pinky finger whom she didn't even remember and now she found herself searching for a doctor. Could it be....? She had once thought about it before but she didn't want to jump into conclusion but she just couldn't help it. Could this doctor be the demon? It was ridiculous! Why would he be the demon? Why would the demon even save her?
• She shook her head as she immediately brushed off those thoughts. No matter how hard she thought about it, she found it really unbelievable. The demon was after her life, the demon wanted to kill her so why would he then save her? In fact, that would have been the perfect time for him to kill her. Remembering those threats he had said to her made her doubt if that doctor could be the demon.
