Chapter 25 LIKE A PLAGUE

• April stood near the window staring out of the window. Days passed and she had not had any strange dream after what occured at the living room with the demon. She had tried asking him about what she saw but the demon kept snubbing her, treating like she was a plague that needed to be avoided.
• Furthermore, she didn't really like coming out from her room because the other time she came out and found all the creatures of the night at the living room, the way they looked at her and treated her as though she was someone who was not supposed to be in their midst. That's a given, she was an evil witch, she was the villian among them that was why they always made her feel uncomfortable. So she had decided to stay in her room until midnight when she knew she wouldn't find them there except of course, the demon who always sat on the chair like it was a routine for him to always sit there in the middle of the night and stare out of the window and she could not help but wonder if the demon never sleeps.
• After what had happened, she noticed he never spared her a glance. It was not as if he was nice to her in the first place but she noticed he was more cold to her now. She didn't even know how long she would continue to stay here with those creatures. 'Hope the demon will not try to kill me now that he is cold towards me.' She thought. She didn't want to be killed by him, not now, not when all her questions haven't been answered, not when she still has not been able to prove to him that she wasn't the evil witch from his past even though he claimed she was.
