Chapter 175 Reunion

  • As Roy and I entered the coach and searched for our seats, we were greeted by the terrible environment within the vehicle. Since the new year was just around the corner, there were many tourists on the street that was filled with cars and pedestrians. In the meantime, the bus itself was filled with murmurs of grumbles, the crying children, and the smell of many different kinds of food.
  • Nevertheless, I was no stranger to atmospheres like this since I had to squeeze with everyone else in the bus whenever I visited Southlands with my parents as a kid, but the same could not be said for Roy. After all, he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth as he usually traveled in a first-class cabin on a plane or with a driver. Therefore, I was worried that he couldn’t stomach the unpleasant vibe.
  • At that moment, he knitted his eyebrows with a stern look. Although I knew he had a poker face whenever he was out in public, I believed he was in a terrible mood. Despite having no idea where we were heading, I decided to tag along because I knew there was something important in the destination for him.
