- There was nothing more pleasing to Eva than seeing and witnessing for herself how the person she respected and admired was enjoying her meal. In fact, she had lost count of how many compliments had slipped from her lips, which were painted with maroon lipstick. The middle-aged woman's appearance had not changed much since the last time they met. Nevertheless, Eva couldn't hide one thing; Rita seemed restless, thinking about something.
- However, Eva didn't want to get too involved. She was just an outsider and would always be one. There was no longer any connection between them. Eva gladly accepted Rita's visit as a gesture and a hope; don't let their relationship end. Even though Eva no longer bore the name Langley.
