Chapter 15

• Evangeline dried her hands after everything was settled. Assisted by Harley in tidying up the somewhat chaotic kitchen area, they were all able to sit back and enjoy the passing of the day. In fact, Evangeline could have done everything herself, but the girl she had only just met, not yet a day old, did not hesitate to get involved in the kitchen sink.
• She said, “You have prepared us a delicious breakfast. A lunch that makes us reluctant to leave the sofa. Surely it's not just washing dishes, I can't do it?”
• Not only Harvey, Giselle, and Ursula shared the same task. Evangeline was at a loss for words to refuse and ask them to sit still.
