His words immediately sparked my anger and I retorted, “What do you mean that I’m hinting at him? I’m an upright person, unlike jerks like you who merely play around with women!”
Eric scoffed, “You’re upright? Are you sure you don’t have any other designs on Richard? Anyone who is a little brighter can tell that you’re flirting with him.”
Miffed, I retorted, “Even if that’s true, it has nothing to do with you. So I don’t need your pretentious kind reminder.”
“I’m telling you this for your own good, you ungrateful thing.”
“Save it, you two-faced, backstabbing jerk. Are you always making things difficult for me in my designs because you think I’m a pushover? You even went to my place to snitch on me. Is that the proper behavior of a man?” I argued, refusing to back down.
“You’re something, aren’t you? Reprimanding me in front of so many people without any regard for my reputation and deciding to quit just like that. What’s more, you even brazenly said that you’ll pay for the losses and showed me a nasty face when I was at your door. What kind of unreasonable person are you?”
