  • “I just wanted to find out how well the family education of the Deering Family is. Indeed, it’s just hearsay that the Deering ladies are generous and virtuous. Judging from how Beatrice Beverly behaves, her elder sister, Beverly Deering, is certainly no better.”
  • “Beverly Deering?” I was startled as the name sounded familiar to me. I should have heard it before.
