• Reaching my office, Sam greeted me with three more novel samples. "Mr. Fords asked me to bring these to you. Please let me know how I can assist you. Five novels seem like too much work," she expressed concern.
• "Don't worry, I'll manage. Did Alan meet with HR?" I inquired.
• "Yes, he came to discuss signing one of his previously published novels," she replied. I nodded, settling into my seat to begin reviewing the books. As I delved into the manuscripts, Sam brought up the decision on two potential authors.
