Chapter 60 Sandro's Command

  • As Sheila exited the cell, Genesis felt a strange sense of calm wash over her. She had done it—she had spoken her mind, stood up for what she believed in, and in doing so, had helped to set them on a path that might just save them all. It was a feeling she wasn't used to, but one she found herself embracing with surprising ease.
  • For the first time in a long while, Genesis felt like she truly belonged. Not because of her powers—or lack thereof— but because of who she was, and what she was capable of contributing. And as she watched Sheila's retreating figure, she made a silent vow to herself that she would continue to fight for what she believed in no matter the cost.
  • The dense forest was eerily silent, shrouded in a thick blanket of mist that clung to the ancient trees like a second skin. The air was cold, and the scent of damp earth mingled with the faint aroma of pine. Sandro stood motionless at the edge of a clearing, his senses heightened, every fiber of his being attuned to the surroundings. The moonlight barely penetrated the thick canopy above, casting ghostly shadows on the forest floor.
