• Jules. Laughing, head tilted back, genuinely laughing in the way that means nothing is performed about it. She's wearing earrings I don't recognize and her hair is different than the last time I saw her up close, shorter, and she looks — good. She looks like herself. She looks like the version of herself that existed before everything, except different, because the version before everything had something tentative around the edges that this version doesn't have.
