- I only check the library mailbox because Mrs. Edith mentioned the graduate students use them for inter-departmental notes, and I have been meaning to ask about reserving a study room for the following week. I'm already thinking about my shift schedule when I pull open the small brass door, and my hand finds the envelope before my brain catches up to what it's holding.
