I arrived at the health club on Monday at 8:40 pm. Lance was there already, using the elliptical. I walked toward him and said hi. He continued pedaling, ignoring me. Then I saw him talk to another redhead guy for 15 minutes. For some reason, the other guy's face looked familiar, but I wasn't sure where from.
I exercised for 25 minutes, until I saw him going toward the showers. I moved there too, and showered next to him. I glanced at him multiple times, but he disregarded me completely. Then he moved to the sauna. I followed him and pleaded, "Lance, why are you avoiding me?"
As the white fog slowly filled the room, he blurted, "You disappeared for a week and didn't bother telling me anything. What did you expect?"
