• I stared at him dumbly, blinking my eyes several times and trying to process his words. Owen always had a blank look on his face including his eyes. They always looked dark, threatening, and devoid of any warmth but right now, I could see the emotions that were swirling in them. But I wasn't sure what they were. Was I still in a daze after the kiss?
