Chapter 91
- “Mate is in danger, mate is in danger,” My wolf wouldn’t stop yapping in my head but I knew that already and her agitation made me feel even worse. The pains were coming more frequently, and I’d barely recovered from one before another hit me. I growled, and Vadirr snapped his head to me. He was sitting beside me at the back of the vehicle while the other man drove.
- “You feel the pain,” He commented “I have known Draven all my life. Sometimes, I believe I know him more than I know myself even. I can not say he is perfect, but he’s not as bad as he tries to make himself look,”
- I turned to face him. Vadirr never spoke of the prince, at least not to my hearing, and if I ever wanted to know something about prince Draven, Vadirr is the last person I’d ask. But I heard a little bit of pride in his voice now that he mentioned his beloved Draven.
