Chapter 54

• There are seven Oracles in the Lycaon palace, but one of them was the most powerful and closest to the moon goddess as everyone believed. Her name is Cordelia. She was a popular oracle, talked about around all werewolf and Lycan packs. As we approached her shrine, goose bumps started to creep up my skin, along with a banging headache. I started to panic. Ever since the incident where Draven got shot, I haven’t had this recurring headache. I wanted to believe it was gone forever but as I started to feel the pain, fear crept in.
• Draven turned to me and raised a brow as he drove, but I didn’t turn to look back at him, as I feared he may know what’s wrong. He always seemed to sense it whenever this happened and I was going to chuckle when I remembered he’d said I had a gift but the headache didn’t let me.
• When he stopped in front of the shrine, I was skeptical to step out of the vehicle, but I didn’t have a choice. His furrowed brows told me that he knew something was wrong, so I had to try to act otherwise.
