• “Esmeray, please come out,” I heard Draven say for the tenth time at the door of the bathroom. I ignored and continued to scrub my body with tears still streaming down my eyes. I cast my mind back to the events of the last few days, and the more I think about it, the more I felt hurt. I wanted to wash Donovan’s filthy hands off my body but no matter how many hours I spent in the bathroom scrubbing my body with different scents of body wash, I still felt filthy.
