• In a very remote restaurant out of town, Ivy was seated in a corner, waiting for the arrival of someone.
• “Why isn’t she here yet? Didn’t she receive my call?” Ivy mumbled to herself as she tapped on a number on her phone screen in frustration. She had been waiting here for almost an hour, still yet, she hadn’t met the so-called partner who would help her make Jane cease to exist.
• The phone of the person she was calling was ringing, but she wasn’t picking up. When she was about to stand up and leave the restaurant in anger, she saw a woman, who was putting on the latest flair gown that was just introduced to the fashion market last week, making her look out of place.
