• Taylor snatched the phone up, his eyes never leaving Renee's face. He swiped to answer and pressed the loudspeaker icon with a decisive click.
• “Maxwell, you idiot! You finally decided to call back?” Taylor’s voice was strained, thick with barely concealed rage.
• Maxwell’s cheerful, oblivious voice boomed into the quiet suite: “Mate! I’ve been trying to ring you back for ages! Why are you trying to call me so early, did you not enjoy the surprise? Was she not enough to tire you out? Don’t tell me you need another girl already!”
