Chapter 70

• When the elevator doors opened, Dominic surveyed the open area in front of him. Lev Volkov stood in front of the large windows, looking out. He had four men with him as well. He turned when he heard Dominic’s footsteps, and they met in the middle of the room.
• Dominic’s eyes missed nothing. Lev Volkov looked too comfortable and relaxed, making Dominic wonder what game Lev was playing. The man clearly had a death wish, or he was an idiot. Dominic didn’t mind being the one to teach him a lesson.
• Construction was still being done, so the floor was open to either side. There was nowhere for additional men to hide, and Austin nodded his head at Dominic. When Lev stuck his hand out, Dominic shook it.
