• The rest of the wedding and even the reception were blurry for Rafaella. All she kept thinking about was the way Dominic had kissed her. Her lips tingled, and his taste of whiskey and mint had her senses in overdrive.
• The wedding band he’d slipped onto her finger matched the engagement ring and was studded with black and white diamonds as well. She’d changed into her gray dress, and her father had kissed her farewell before she’d been herded into an overly large SUV.
• She was now seated in a very comfortable leather chair on Dominic’s private jet, heading to Italy, where they would spend twelve days. She’d never been anywhere, and the fact that Dominic had chosen Italy made her heart soften.
