• “I wondered why Ricky hasn’t marked you yet?” Terra raised her brows. Soraya was taken aback by the question. “He could help you win the final Trial,” Terra continued. “This is the trial by influence Soraya, the pack members will cast a vote for their chosen leader. Since both of you win the two trials, whoever wins this final round will become the new Alpha leader of the Blood Moon pack.
• “I have no idea, Aunt Terra, he seems to come to me whenever I need help but leave me after.” Soraya might know a lot of things but men are just sparring partners for her, she has never known anyone like Ricky. He had this effect on her, the butterflies in her stomach and the rapid beating of her heart. Even just thinking of him sent a blush to her cheeks.
• “I feel that he is hot and cold sometimes,” Soraya furrowed her brows, “He is so close but also distant.” Soraya thought that Ricky was the kind of man that she wanted to spend most of her time with, but at that moment he was not her priority. Thinking about it now, he could help her in the final round. Soraya’s eyes lit up. If what they guess is true, then he might be a Lycan prince and can surely help her convince his father to help, but the question is how can she approach him without making him realize her self-serving agenda.
