• Soraya rides through the forest, the canopy of trees providing shade from the midday sun. Her thoughts drift to her aunt Terra, trainer Tony, and friend Demi. How would they react to the news? She imagines their faces, filled with concern and disappointment.
• ‘You have to stay strong for them, for the pack. This isn’t the end.’ Amethyst whispered in her ears.
• ‘Yes, I know Amethyst, but I can't imagine their disappointment.’ She replied to her wolf.
