Chapter 24 Meeting The Commanders

• "I'll kill her!" Emogen growled inside me. I struggled to maintain control.
• I kept my expression neutral despite the sword tip pressing against my throat. Before I could respond, one of the other commanders broke from the group. A woman with dark curly hair stepped forward, dismissively pushing the sword away from my neck.
• "Don't bully her, Ravenna," she said with authority. "She's Seraphine Velkan, the Red Phantom. She could kill you if she wanted to."
