Chapter 12

• October 31st
• Arianna opened one eye and peeked at the time. It was just a bit past dawn. She grinned realizing she could clearly see the numbers on the clock without her glasses. She held her breath and lifted her hand to look at it. Shrieking, she flipped the covers back and jumped out of the bed. Nothing was blurry!
• She darted to the mirror. She could see her face clearly! I haven’t changed much, she thought as she spun in circles toward the kitchen.
