• Zain glanced over at Oaklyn again. She still had an amazed look on her face. He figured Eaton shocked people more often than not. She was on the Special Operations team and was unlike the other large members of the team. He doubted Eaton even reached five feet in height. She was tiny and petite, and her features were delicate. She had pure white hair that she wore short and spiked all over her head. When she spoke, you had to lean in just to hear her. The first time she’d come into his office with Kenzo, he thought she was just a visitor.
• “I’m sorry if I keep lookin’ at you with my gob hangin’ open, but I’m both surprised and delighted that you are a member of one of the Alliance teams.” Oaklyn adjusted her wig and smiled at Eaton.
