Chapter 30

• Oaklyn sat there and looked around at the others coming and going. Her wolf was right there. She wasn’t used to being around so many shifters, especially different clans in one space. So far everyone she met she liked. They weren’t how she pictured them being. They may be out there looking after their kind and ending the injustices being done, but they were fun and friendly.
• She watched Kobie and Blair come in. He was a bit of a comedian, but she thought they were a perfect couple. She wondered how they had found each other and if it was smooth sailing from the start. They seemed in synch with each other, and she envied them. Turning, she looked at where Zain sat with his friends Foster and Webb. Life was too complicated for her and for Zain as well, so there wasn’t going to be any smooth sailing for them.
• When she turned back, Kobie was smiling as she walked toward her.
