- She smiled, even though it wasn’t funny. He was so truthful, it struck her in an amusing way. “Maybe we can check the map and see if there are roads we can lose them on?”
- “We can, but at this time of year, there’s no guarantee that the roads are cleared enough to outmaneuver anyone.”
