• When Byron left, Diana and the rest of her companions also left. Marla and Amanda were left where they are standing, unable to believe what had happened. Marla was wondering what Byron had done, especially when Byron turned his back on her sister—Amanda.
• "What happened? Why did he leave?” Marla asked making Amanda turn to her.
• Amanda bit her bottom lip, smiling sparingly at Marla. "Go home, Byron is waiting for me in the parking lot," said Amanda.
