Chapter 21 She Is Afraid

• When Byron and Amanda got home, they weren’t talking. Byron thinks about what he did to Amanda, while Amanda thinks about how to pay for the money Byron gave to her uncle. She needs to talk to her family and tell them not to lend money to different people because she works but she is also thinking about how she will let Byron know that she needs to go to her family.
• "Hey, can I talk to you?" Amanda asked shyly. They were just about to enter their room and she immediately called Byron. Byron frowned and turned to her.
• "What is it?" he asked in a serious tone. Amanda didn't know why Byron was mad at her again.
