• This morning that I have been dreading so much finally arrived, my heart clenched up with the thought of never seeing my mate or child again unless from a far distance.
• After stripping off my duvet, I dragged my tired body into the shower and began my morning routine. When I was dressed decently enough to go outside, I called some of my servants so that they would help my mate in packing anything she needed.
