Chapter 39

• Alpha Arnold's POV
• I stood in front of my bedroom, my heart pounding and beating like a drum as my fingers hover over the door knob while my mind tried to trick me that she was not there beyond the door. For the first time in my life I had an unfamiliar feeling; Fear.
• It caused the hair on the back of my neck to stand up and my entire body felt cold even though my environment was fairly warm. I had never been afraid in my entire life, but the thought of losing her and our baby was enough for me to have that feeling that had never crossed my mind before.
